10 Best Embedded Analytics Platforms for SaaS

10 Best Embedded Analytics Platforms for SaaS

The quick answer

Quick answer: if you want customer-facing dashboards inside your SaaS product without building a charting stack, start with an embedding-first platform: Luzmo (one published plan from €1,995 a month) or Embeddable (flat custom quote, code-first web component). If you already run a BI tool, Metabase Pro, Looker's Embed edition or Power BI Embedded let you reuse it. If your team models data in code, Cube (embedding on its $80 per developer Premium plan) is the developer-first route. Sisense, ThoughtSpot, GoodData and Qrvey are the enterprise options with multi-tenancy built in. All prices below were checked on each vendor's own pricing page and are as of October 2026.

Embedded analytics means the charts, dashboards and reports your customers see inside your product, scoped to their own data. The hard part is not drawing a chart. It is tenant isolation (customer A never sees customer B's rows), authentication that rides on your app's login, white-labeling, and keeping query costs predictable as accounts grow. The ten platforms below handle those parts in different ways, so the comparison focuses on the embedding method, the security model and how each one charges.

How we picked these platforms

Every platform on this list supports embedding for external customers (not only internal dashboards), offers some form of row-level or tenant-level security, and is sold today. We left out Explo: Omni acquired it in October 2025 and says it will move customers to Omni and then sunset the Explo platform. We also left out general BI tools that only offer public links, which are fine for a marketing page but not for per-customer data. If you are still deciding whether you need a full platform or just a few in-product reports, our guide to SaaS dashboard reporting tools covers the lighter options.

1. Luzmo

Who it is for: SaaS teams that want a dedicated embedded analytics vendor with a published price and front-end components for every major framework.

Pricing: one plan, "Embedded Everywhere", starting from €1,995 per month, billed annually. It includes 500 AI conversations and 100 million rows of its Warp query engine a month, with overage charged per extra million rows. Luzmo states there is no smaller tier.

Strengths: server-side embed authorization tokens decide what each of your users can see, with multi-tenancy handled through row-level filters or connection overrides. Components ship for web components, React, Angular, Vue and React Native, and white-labeling is included in the one plan.

Limits: annual billing only, and usage components can add cost above the included volume.

2. Embeddable

Who it is for: engineering-led teams that want dashboards to feel native to their own front end, defined in code that lives in their repository.

Pricing: no list price. Embeddable sells a flat monthly subscription with unlimited usage and every feature, quoted by project scope.

Strengths: a single web component (no iframes) that drops into React, Vue or plain HTML, with server-side tokens scoping every view to the signed-in user. Data models are built on Cube, and the component libraries on GitHub are MIT licensed. White-labeling is on by default.

Limits: you need a sales call to learn the price, and the code-first model assumes developer time for setup.

3. Metabase

Who it is for: teams that already use Metabase internally, or want an open-source core with a paid tier for production embedding.

Pricing: the open-source edition is free to self-host. Pro is $575 a month ($6,210 a year) with the first 10 users included and $12 per extra user a month; Enterprise starts at $20,000 a year. Metabase states that both your internal team and the users of your embeds count as billed users.

Strengths: two embedding styles. Modular embedding places individual dashboards, questions or the query builder in your app through a React SDK or web components; full app embedding puts the whole Metabase interface in an iframe with SSO. Guest embedding with signed tokens works on every plan, including open source.

Limits: SSO embedding, multi-tenant setup and basic appearance customization need Pro or Enterprise, and every SSO viewer needs a Metabase account that counts toward billing. We cover other options in Metabase alternatives.

4. Sisense

Who it is for: larger SaaS companies and regulated industries that need column-level security, on-premises or dedicated-cloud deployment and full white-labeling.

Pricing: two plans on the Sisense plans page. Self-serve has a free trial but no published price; Enterprise is quoted by sales.

Strengths: the Compose SDK has quickstarts for React, Vue and Angular and can embed existing dashboards or build new ones in code. Enterprise adds a multi-tenant architecture, an SSO router, HIPAA readiness and a 99.99% premium SLA, and it can run on SaaS, your own cloud or on-premises.

Limits: the Compose SDK source is public but licensed under a Sisense end user agreement, and it needs a Sisense licence and instance to run.

5. ThoughtSpot Embedded

Who it is for: products where customers ask questions in natural language rather than only reading fixed dashboards.

Pricing: the ThoughtSpot Embedded tab lists a free Developer plan (up to 10 users and 25 million rows) and a custom-priced Enterprise plan.

Strengths: the Visual Embed SDK (an npm JavaScript library) embeds single charts, Liveboards, search or the full app. The pricing page lists row-level security, multi-tenancy by organization and SSO through SAML, OAuth or OIDC.

Limits: production pricing is a sales conversation. The same page shows the Developer plan as both "Free" and "Free for 1 year", so confirm the term before you build on it.

6. GoodData

Who it is for: SaaS companies with many customer workspaces that want per-workspace rather than per-user pricing.

Pricing: the Professional plan is priced as a platform fee plus the number of workspaces, with unlimited users and data; Enterprise is custom. Both go through sales.

Strengths: iframe, web components and APIs for embedding, a React SDK for custom interfaces, hierarchical workspaces for multi-tenancy, a semantic layer and per-customer themes and domains.

Limits: Professional comes with one environment and community-forum support; self-hosting, 24/7 SLAs and compliance packages are Enterprise. The GoodData.UI SDK is under a GoodData licence, not an open-source one.

7. Looker (Embed edition)

Who it is for: teams already on Google Cloud, or already modeling data in LookML, that want to reuse that model in their product.

Pricing: Looker is sold as Standard, Enterprise and Embed editions, each an annual commitment priced by Google Cloud sales. The Embed edition includes up to 500,000 query-based API calls a month.

Strengths: signed embedding loads a signed Looker URL in an iframe, so your users need no Looker login, and a cookieless option covers browsers that block third-party cookies. The JavaScript Embed SDK is MIT licensed.

Limits: no public price, and iframe-based embedding is harder to make look native than a component library. If Looker's pricing is the blocker, see our list of Looker alternatives.

8. Power BI Embedded

Who it is for: Microsoft-centered companies whose analysts already build reports in Power BI.

Pricing: capacity-based on Azure, billed hourly. Azure's pricing page lists the smallest A1 node at about $736 a month, rising to about $23,543 for A6; prices vary by region.

Strengths: "embed for your customers" (app owns data) lets your users view reports without Power BI licences, and your report authors keep using Power BI Desktop, which is a free download.

Limits: Microsoft states that free trial tokens are for development only and that production needs a purchased capacity. Publishing content still needs a Power BI Pro licence ($14 per user a month, paid yearly).

9. Qrvey

Who it is for: SaaS companies that want analytics deployed inside their own AWS or Azure account, with self-service dashboard building for end users.

Pricing: flat-rate pricing by request, covering unlimited tenants, users and dashboards; Qrvey also offers a perpetual licence for its Pro and Ultra editions.

Strengths: native multi-tenant security at row, column and schema level that inherits your app's security model, plus pixel-perfect reporting, no-code workflow automation and bring-your-own-model AI.

Limits: running it in your cloud means you operate the infrastructure (Qrvey also sells a managed infrastructure service), and there is no published price.

10. Cube

Who it is for: data and engineering teams that want a semantic layer first and embedded dashboards on top of it.

Pricing: Free (with limits), Starter at $40 per developer a month and Premium at $80 per developer a month, plus deployment compute. Embedded dashboards and embedded analytics chat are Premium features; Enterprise is custom.

Strengths: Cube Core is open source under Apache 2.0, and the hosted product offers private or signed iframe embedding, a React Embed SDK and headless APIs if you want to draw charts yourself.

Limits: embedding is not available on Free or Starter, and infrastructure charges sit on top of seat prices.

How to choose an embedded analytics platform

Start with three questions. First, who builds the dashboards: your analysts (pick a BI-based option such as Metabase, Looker or Power BI), your developers (Embeddable, Cube or Luzmo's code-first components) or your customers themselves (Qrvey, Sisense or Luzmo's embedded editor)? Second, how does tenant isolation work in your data: one database per customer, a shared schema with a tenant column, or a warehouse? Every vendor above supports the shared-schema pattern through token-scoped filters, but test it with your real model. Third, what will pricing look like at 10 times your current customer count? Per-user pricing (Metabase, Power BI Pro for authors) and capacity pricing (Power BI Embedded, Luzmo's row volume) scale differently from flat-rate deals (Embeddable, Qrvey).

If your product needs only a handful of fixed charts, a full platform may be more than you need. Our older roundup of embedded analytics dashboard tools and the role-based dashboard tools list cover lighter setups. PLG OS also ships React chart components such as its line chart component, installed from the @questlabs/react-graphs package, which suit simple in-app charts rather than full self-service analytics.

FAQs

What is an embedded analytics platform?

It is software that puts dashboards, charts and reports inside your own product, scoped to each customer's data, so users do not have to leave your app or log in to a separate BI tool.

Which embedded analytics platforms publish their prices?

As of October 2026, Luzmo (from €1,995 a month, billed annually), Metabase (Pro $575 a month), Cube (Premium $80 per developer a month) and Power BI Embedded (Azure capacity, about $736 a month for an A1 node) publish prices. Embeddable, Sisense Enterprise, GoodData, Looker and Qrvey quote through sales.

Is there an open-source embedded analytics option?

Yes. Metabase's core is open source under AGPL and supports guest embedding with signed tokens on every plan, and Cube Core is Apache 2.0. Production features such as SSO embedding (Metabase) or the hosted embedding UI (Cube) are paid.

Is iframe embedding good enough?

For many products, yes, as long as the iframe is loaded through a signed URL or token so each customer only sees their own data. Component-based embedding (Embeddable, Luzmo, Metabase's React SDK, Sisense Compose SDK) is easier to style so it looks like the rest of your app.
